Jamie Gerson is passionate about brand protection and making sure brand owners, consumers, and fans are educated on the advancements of counterfeit merchandise. After many years of working in the licensing space watching infringers multiply, Jamie was one of the founding members in creating a leading brand protection technology platform that helps brands find, remove and report counterfeit online: CounterFind. CounterFind is the leader in online brand protection giving back trademark holders control of their brands online.
Prior to Jamie’s current role growing Business Development at CounterFind, she had many years of experience growing brands through e-commerce licensing specifically through social media platforms in the sports, music, and entertainment industries. She worked with licensors such as the Dallas Cowboys, National Football League Players Association, CLC, Nickelodeon and many more.
After graduating from the University of Texas in Austin (Hook ‘Em!), Jamie began growing sales and premium services for the American Airlines Center in Dallas. Working with the Dallas Mavericks basketball team and Dallas Stars hockey team is where she saw firsthand that counterfeiting was becoming a bigger problem online than it was outside of the stadium, and that counterfeit merchandise was affecting not only the front office, but players, their families, fans, and consumers.
Jamie is an active member of Licensing International, International Trademark Association, and National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (ICLA).
